Nicolas Lafargue - Creator of the Notion Shared Expenses Tracker template

Hey there 👋

I'm Nicolas, the founder of BlocksPad. Let me share my journey with you.

Back in 2019, I came across an app that completely transformed the way I work and organize my life. I was instantly drawn to its flexibility, both in terms of design and functionality.

Even today, I use it daily and can’t imagine going back to juggling multiple tools. That app? Notion.

Notion has become my second brain—a space where I centralize my knowledge, documents, projects and tasks, helping me stay organized and keep a clear mind.

At some point, I started noticing people sharing their own Notion templates. That’s when I decided to dive in and create my own. Notion is a powerful tool, but it can be overwhelming, especially with the constant updates and new features. I wanted to make it more accessible by offering templates that simplify its use.

By the end of 2022, I launched my first two templates—and to my surprise, they quickly found an audience. People loved them for their clean design, ease of use, and the fact that they couldn’t find similar ones elsewhere.

In early 2023, I took things a step further by becoming a Notion Certified Creator, making this passion project even more concrete. With certification in hand, I continued releasing new templates and seeing growing enthusiasm. But there was one challenge: visibility. I needed a dedicated space to showcase my work and reach more people.

That’s why I created BlocksPad.

I wanted a space where I could share my templates with people who, like me, were looking for a way to make Notion truly work for them. My goal was simple: create practical, intuitive, and well-designed templates that help users save time and stay organized—without having to build everything from scratch.

What makes BlocksPad different?

First, every template is designed with real needs in mind. I don’t create generic dashboards just for the sake of having a large catalog. Instead, I focus on tools that solve specific problems—whether it’s managing your personal finances, planning your meals efficiently, or organizing your projects without the usual clutter.

Second, usability comes first. Many Notion templates look great but turn out to be frustratingly complex. My approach is different: I make sure each template is easy to use, visually appealing, and functional from day one, so you can focus on what matters without wasting time trying to figure things out.

Lastly, BlocksPad is not just a marketplace—it’s a place where I share my expertise, my experiences, and my best tips for making the most of Notion. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a simple way to get started or an advanced user searching for a streamlined system, you’ll find templates that are both efficient and adaptable to your workflow.

And this is just the beginning. I’m constantly working on new templates, refining existing ones, and staying up to date with Notion’s latest features to make sure you always have the best tools at your disposal.

So, if you’re ready to simplify your digital workspace and boost your productivity, welcome to BlocksPad—I’m sure you’ll find something that makes your life easier.
